Take control of your life

One of the biggest mistakes we can make in life is undermining the amount of control over it we actually have.

It’s so easy to go through life running down a narrow path, allowing external influences to keep you on the road, and literally just going through the motions of life and never finding that deep joy we seek.

When you discover how much control you actually have of your life, it becomes so much easier to make the choices that will benefit your life.

This is a shift in the way of thinking that empowers you to maximize your potential, and to strive to be the best you can be.

You make a vote with every action you take on what you believe, on the kind of world you want to live in.

When you understand and embrace your control, your choice, you will see all of a sudden all of those opportunities that you thought were not available to you – are just sitting there waiting for you to reach out to them.

You can start taking control of your life today with just one simple mindset change.

I Choose.

So often in our language we use these phrases

“I have to”

“I need to”

“I can’t”

Simply changing these phrases can unlock your mind to the true power and control of your life.

I Choose.

You don’t HAVE to do anything.. You CAN do anything.

Simply replace these phrases that hold you a mental prisoner, with the words “I Choose”

“I Choose to”

“I Choose not to”

Watch the world of empowerment and autonomy overcome your life, by understanding your choice.

You don’t HAVE to go to work.. but you are choosing to.

Once you realize that you are making a choice, you can begin to understand why.

“I choose to go to work so I can pay my bills.”

Why do you need to pay your bills?

Is it simply because paying these things improve the quality of life of you and your family?

“I choose to go to work so I can pay my bills to improve the quality of life for myself and my family.”

“I choose to improve the quality of life for myself and my family.”

Understanding your ultimate goal, in this case, caring for your family, and the path you choose to do it will open doors to other choices.

Are there other, better, choices you can make to care for your family?

It all starts with choice.

Your potential is limitless, but first you must unlock the door by understanding that every action you make — is a choice.

Now the question is, is that choice going to help you be happy, or hurt, and is there a better choice that you can make?

It all starts with choice.

I choose to make a better life for myself and my community, what do you choose to do?

Social Networks becoming prime sources for evidence in Divorce & Custody cases

Social Networks are a growing display of evidence in Divorce Cases.

Forgot to de-friend your wife on Facebook while posting vacation shots of your mistress? Her divorce lawyer will be thrilled.

Oversharing on social networks has led to an overabundance of evidence in divorce cases. The American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers says 81 percent of its members have used or faced evidence plucked from Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and other social networking sites, including YouTube and LinkedIn, over the last five years.

“Oh, I’ve had some fun ones,” said Linda Lea Viken, president-elect of the 1,600-member group. “It’s very, very common in my new cases.”

It’s all good and fine to propose via Twitter these days or to change your relationship status at the altar, but when your love has faded and your thoughts turn to divorce, you’d better un-friend your soon-to-be-ex long before the ink dries. What he or she sees on your profile may very well be used against you in court. […]
